Welcome to Jon and Emily's Blog. For the past two years we have been teaching in Bloodvein, Manitoba. It is a First Nation Reserve 3 hours North of Winnipeg with a population of about 1000 people. This experience has been rewarding and challenging. Moving to Bloodvein was the first time that we both moved out of our family homes in Welland, Ontario. Before teaching we both did our undergrads at Brock University and Jon followed up his education at Niagara University in their Teacher Education Program and I attended Brock for Teacher's College.
When we are not teaching you could find us doing something with golf. We enjoy every aspect of this sport from watching, practicing and playing. It may be hard to decide who is more dedicated. Other then golf Jon also enjoys reading, hanging out with his friends and playing basketball and baseball. While Emily enjoys doing crafts, baking, playing Basketball and hanging out with her friends.
